Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Desert 101 Hike
Join Ranger Eric for a guided hike to learn about the animals, plants, and ecology of the Sonoran Desert. We will hike a loop incorporating segments of Rainbow Valley, Baseline, and Toothaker trails. The trails are moderate with occasional inclines and rocky, uneven terrain. The hike should take 1.5-2 hours. Please wear sturdy footwear and sun protection, carry ample water, electrolytes, and snacks. Restrooms and a water bottle refilling station are located at the trailhead.

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on Tuesday, 11/12.
