Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Desert 101 Hike

Join Ranger Jacque on a 2.5 mile hike to learn about a variety of desert plant and animal life.  

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the desert on this informative morning hike, revealing a side of desert life you may be surprised to learn. This 2.5-mile moderate hike follows a southern section of Pass Mountain trailhead, to Cat Peaks, and returns in a loop via Blevins Trail. Restrooms are available at the trailhead, where we will meet. Please bring water, sun protection, and hiking shoes. Well-behaved dogs on leash OK.

MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead staging area by restrooms
