Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Night Walk – Super Spooky Edition
October is spooky season, so get yourself into the Halloween spirit with this exciting night hike along the Black Rock Loop trail. If you can find it in a witch’s cauldron, we’ll be looking for it: scorpions, spiders, snakes, bats, centipedes, toads, insects and more! The trail is rated easy with little loose rock, uneven surfaces, or elevation change. Please bring water and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bring flashlights; black UV lights are optional.
MEETING LOCATION: Area 4 parking lot near the restrooms.
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the White Tank Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 5. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 10/10.
