Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Night Hike

Enjoy a roughly two-mile evening hike on the Wild Burro trail. We’ll be on the lookout for all kinds of evening-active critters, from skunks to scorpions, spiders, snakes, fox, coyote, deer, owls and more! The trail is rated easy-moderate with some rocky, uneven surfaces and some elevation change. Water and restrooms are available at the trailhead. Please bring plenty of water and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bring flashlights; black UV lights are optional.

MEETING LOCATION: Wild Burro Day Use Area

Limit 12 participants. To register, please email Ranger Kevin at Kevin.Thorson@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 9/24.
