
Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Morning Hike
Join Ranger Kevin for a 3-mile hike on the Wind Cave trail. Trails is rated difficult, so expect long stretches of loose rock and uneven terrain as well as substantial elevation change. We will be on the lookout for all kinds of wildlife along the way. Some animals we may see include mule deer, javelina, squirrels, rabbits, various birds and perhaps a reptile or two. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are also highly recommended. Restrooms are available near the trailhead. No pets, please.
MEETING LOCATION: Wind Cave Trailhead.
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 9/13.
