Maricopa County Library District: Hour of Code™

Participate in the Hour of Code™ with us, wherever you are! No experience is necessary.

You will need a computer or tablet with webcam and microphone. What’s coding? Think of it as computer puzzles for your brain! Registration with email address is needed.

The ‘Hour of Code™’/’Hora del Código®’ is a global initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.

We will be using Khan Academy to make one of the following:

a snowman using JavaScript
a web page holiday card using HTML and CSS
a store database using SQL

All of the projects are for beginners, but have the option to continue and learn even more!
