Come join Ranger Derik on a long 4.5 hike through pristine desert and riparian habitat with sweeping views and look for hidden petroglyphs.  The hike will link sections of both the Spur Cross and dragonfly loop trails and cover a total of 4.5 miles. Due to the nature of the landscape trails can be sandy, rocky, and uneven at times so please wear closed toed shoes with good ankle support. Trekking poles or a walking stick can also come in handy. Spur cross has does not have water available so please make sure to bring plenty. We will meet for the hike at the covered tables near the Spur Cross trailhead.
