Lowell Observatory: Orbits Curiosity Middle School Camp – Navigating the Night Sky

Designed for students going into 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in the fall, this year at middle school camp, students will learn how to navigate the night sky. Campers will be able to operate telescopes and other scientific instruments to aid in their mission. Other activities will include hiking, drawing, playing games, and more.  If your young scientist is interested in using instruments to collect astronomical information, this camp is for them!

These activity-based, week-long day camps run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. They are for students going into 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in the fall. This year at middle school camp, students will learn how to identify constellations, locate deep-sky objects, and operate portable telescopes. Other activities will include hiking, drawing, playing games, and more.
