You know this class will be delightful! Oh\, and FYI: BOYS love this class too! \nInspired by the kawaii art movement and the Pop Mart blind box craze\, this class is a week-long creative adventure where students design\, craft\, and curate their own collection of cute trinkets\, wearables\, and collectibles. The big project: each student builds their own DIY claw machine. \nThroughout the week\, kids fill their machines with handmade items like clay figures\, shrinky dink keychains\, beaded bracelets\, and more. The class culminates in a pop-up shop experience with student-designed store signage\, decorated shopping bags with custom stamps\, button name tags\, and more. \nOn showcase day\, parents receive play money to ‘shop’ at the kids’ stores and try the claw machines! Every project ties back to a real art form or design concept\, from Japanese kawaii culture to iconography\, stamp-making\, and basic entrepreneurship. \n  \nGrades 1 – 3 \nJune 1 – 5
