International Hummingbird Society: Sedona Hummingbird Festival – Hummingbird Photography and Videography with your Apple iPhone

Love capturing hummingbirds with your iPhone? Join Lisa Langell to learn key tips on taking better photos and video of these beautiful birds!

You will learn:

  • How to take beautiful video and get close enough to your subject when doing so
  • How to use your headphones to get remote photos of hummingbirds
  • Basic composition tips
  • What types of images are/are not possible with your iPhone
  • Apps that can help post-process your shots into beautiful and artistic images

This class will be held in Cornville at “Tiny Waters,” a lush garden filled with interesting plants, ornaments, and of course many hummingbirds. It is 12.5 miles (15 minutes) from Hummingbird Central.

Gear to bring: iPhone (fully charged), tripod with a mount to hold your phone (tall enough to reach a feeder), pair of wired headphones for iPhone with volume control (optional, but suggested).
