Highlands Center for Natural History: Arthropalooza

Celebrate all things creepy and crawly at this Highlands Center favorite.

Whether you find insects gross or fascinating, this festival is for you! Join the Dead Bug Society or Cicada Club to take a closer look at some members of this ancient group of animals. From anatomy to life cycles, you are sure to leave with a better understanding of these often misunderstood creatures. All ages are welcome! Thanks to our sponsor Orkin, we can learn about the human dimensions and impact on arthropods. These high flying, web spinning, shape shifting arthropods of the Arizona Highlands will knock your socks off!

In the James Family Discovery Gardens.
