Glendale Public Library: Intro to Visible Mending for Teens

Visible mending is a technique embraced by various cultures to repair fabric, enhancing its longevity while also adding a distinct personal flair.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the fundamentals of the Japanese sashiko style of visible mending to fix a garment. Please bring an item you’d like to mend, and we will provide all necessary materials.

Please note, this session is exclusively for teens ages 12-18.
