Glendale Public Library: Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve – Tales From the Land

Explore the history of Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve as you journey through its distinctive desert landscape, where early inhabitants left behind a rich collection of petroglyphs.

John Bello, the Assistant Director of the Preserve, will share insights into the site’s cultural significance, provide updates on current preservation efforts, and highlight ongoing collaborations with Indigenous communities to safeguard and interpret these ancient symbols in a way that honors their traditions and wisdom. All attendees will be entered in a drawing for the chance to win free tickets to the Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve.
