Glendale Public Library: Celebrate Water Awareness Month with Glendale Water Conservation!

Let’s learn about our water! Our water comes from various sources, and we have developed ways to ensure a reliable supply. Did you know that one way we store water is through dams? During this event, participants will have the opportunity to build a dam and learn about the many benefits they provide. We will also use a groundwater flow model to demonstrate how we access water stored underground in aquifers.

Ages 5-18.

Don’t forget – you can also participate in the 2024 Water Conservation Bookmark Art Contest by creating your own bookmark!

  • Audience: Kids (6 - 8 years), Teens (14 - 18 years), Tweens (9 - 13 years)
  • Genre: Conservation and Sustainability
  • Type: Exhibit/Presentation

The event is finished.
