According to research from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, between 30 to 40 percent of food is wasted. Composting is an earth-friendly solution for managing food waste and creating a sustainable and valuable resource. Emily Heller, Master Gardener and Urban Farmer from Bene Vivendo, will show you how to turn yard waste and kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost that will help feed your soil.
