Glendale Public Library: Arts and Crafts Corner – Soldered Holiday Ornament (session 2)

Learn how to do simple soldering in order to create a holiday ornament. When completed the ornament will have blinking red, blue and green LED lights. All parts of the kit will be provided. You will learn simple techniques to attach resistors, button, capacitor, circuit boards, LEDs. sockets and ATTiny 85 ICs. CR 2032 batteries are included. Soldering iron, wire cutters, solder, flux paste and cleaner will be provided. Complete detailed instructions will be provided. Each participant will complete one ornament.

 
ONLY REGISTER FOR ONE SESSION. EACH PARTICIPANT SHOULD BRING THEIR OWN MASK AND GOGGLES. Soldering can be dangerous if you do not use a mask and goggles. No one will be permitted to participate without safety equipment.

All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and/or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
