Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus – Pine: Discover Aviation 2 Summer Camp (Grades 9 – 12)
Learn about navigation, weather, aerodynamics, and aircraft systems, as well as traffic control, airports and careers.
You’ll get to practice piloting an aircraft in simulators and possibly flying a plane with experienced pilots.* Instructors for this camp are experienced female pilots who are a part of an organization known as the Ninety-Nines!
*Flying in a plane is a potential option – decision is based on partner availability. Girls must be at least 13; this session includes off-site field trips.
*Prerequisite – Discover Aviation I summer session. This session includes off site field trips.
