Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium: Galaxy Slam – Mysteries of the Unseen World

Mysteries of the Unseen World reveals the hidden wonders all around us—too fast, too slow, or too small for the naked eye. Stunning visuals and cutting-edge science uncover a mind-blowing world you’ve never seen before.

This show will be followed by a spectrum video talk highlighting the work of Dr. Carlos Vargas. As the Principal Investigator of the Aspera SmallSat Mission, he helped develop a far-ultraviolet imaging spectrograph that maps the warm-hot gas emissions in nearby galaxies.

Audience: General, all ages
Style: IMAX film adapted for planetarium + live star talk
