Flagstaff Festival of Science: Science Bedtime Stories Read by Local Authors (ON DEMAND)
Four on-demand Science Bedtime Stories are available on the Festival’s website and app starting on Thursday, September 21st. Local authors read their illustrated children’s books that will delight the budding scientists in your life. This year’s pre-recorded stories include authors Nancy Marshall, Don Lago, Monica Brown and Rodo Safranac.

The Flagstaff Festival of Science is pleased to present “The Mammoth World of Science” September 22- October 1, 2023! The Festival features 10-days of engaging events and programs, all free, for the community to enjoy and celebrate the wonders of science!
This year’s theme has been designed to showcase the fascinating research and scientific discovery of Beth Shapiro, PhD.
The Festival offers a wide variety of presentations, hands-on workshops, interactive discussions, classroom talks and guided tours led by outstanding Flagstaff scientists and STEAM professionals. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to learn about ancient cultures, the environment of the Colorado Plateau, wildlife, astronomy and biology, as well as many topics at the intersection of the sciences and the arts.
Festival events highlight the innovative research happening right here in Flagstaff! Events are held in a variety of venues and institutions throughout northern Arizona.
