Flagstaff City – Coconino County Public Library: Science Cafe

Join us at the East Flagstaff Community Library for a Science Cafe! Science Cafes are monthly science talks for adults and families from local science leaders – coffee and Citizen Science or Community Art oppotunity provided, just bring your questions! Science Cafes are designed to encourage science accessibility and literacy with extensive opportunitiy for questions and further discussion with local science experts.

For our first Science Cafe, learn about and discuss the explosive world of volcanoes from the Western United States to Tonga and how local scientist Greg Vaughn of USGS studies and moniters active volcanoes and geothermal areas like Yellowstone.
