Prescott Regional SciTech Fest
Event Time: Saturday, March 8: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Prescott Regional SciTech Festival promotes a culture that celebrates and embraces education, research, collaboration, innovation, and economic growth in the Prescott region, related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and the Arts (STEAM).
This free, fun-filled educational event features interactive science, technology, engineering, art, and math exhibits and demonstrations as part of the statewide Arizona SciTech initiative. Visitors can engage in hands-on activities, observe scientific experiments, collect free giveaways from campus organizations and community exhibitors, and experience a free planetarium show.
Free tickets to planetarium shows occurring throughout the morning and afternoon will be provided on-site to festival guests. A planetarium show for young children and their families, “Our Friends the Planets,” will occur at 11 a.m., while a show for general audiences, “Across the Visible Universe,” will occur at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
