Desert Foothills Land Trust: Bird Walk at New River Nature Reserve

Come explore the streamside habitat of New River Nature Reserve, with a special focus on bird life. This preserve features lush riparian habitat that serves as home to many wildlife species. Beginning birders welcome.

Length: 1 mile, no elevation gain, no elevation gain, but uneven and sandy surfaces, and possible stream crossing.
Come prepared with water, close-toed shoes, and sun protection. Bring binoculars if you have them. No restrooms available.
Parking: Park at the gas station off of I-17 and New River, and carpool to the Preserve.
