Desert Botanical Garden: Garden Essential – Irrigating with Ollas

Improve your garden’s overall production and health using an ancient form of irrigation with clay pots. Modern day irrigation often leaves the home gardener with higher water bills and the frustrating decision of knowing how much water is needed to keep plants healthy.

We will discuss the benefits of using Ollas and what they can and cannot do, and make your own olla to take home. Also learn how to fertilize plants and which fertilizers to use. Instructed by Mary Crenshaw. Garden admission included with class purchase.
