City of Mesa: Dog Obedience #66440

Goal of this class is to build the necessary skill to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen.
Evaluation is performed with dog and owner. Owners must be able to handle their dog well, while the dog must behave in an appropriate manner as he or she is tested in a variety of circumstances and environments. Dog should be at least 6 months old and be fully vaccinated. (proof of vaccines will be required prior to the first class and dog training waiver will be signed and returned prior to the first day of class). Perquisites for this class are: your dog needs to be able to sit, down, walk on leash, stay and be good with other dogs. Equipment: Flat/martingale collars, harnesses, 4-8 ft leash, head halter (no shock collars, prong collars, flexi-leads or slip leads will be allowed)
This class is positive based so please bring lots of yummy treats, bags for clean up and water for you and your dog.
