Chandler Public Library: Revealing Artifacts Exhibit

Explore how painted pottery uncovered in Arizona’s Tonto Basin tells the story of people who lived in our region hundreds of years in the past. 

This exhibit features images and interpretation from ASU’s Roosevelt Archaeological Collection. This collection includes artifacts from ancient peoples who lived in, and traveled through, the Tonto Basin/ northern Sonoran Desert area.  This exhibit is courtesy of Arizona State University’s School of Human Evolution and Social Change. This traveling exhibit will be featured at all four Chandler Libraries through November 2022.
