DESCRIPTION:Are you indoorsy (aren’t we all in the AZ summer?) but still want the thrill of a campout? This class brings the great outdoors inside with a week of camping-themed STEM challenges. Kids build full-size tent structures in the classroom for an immersive indoor camping experience\, complete with low lighting\, a fake campfire\, and camp vibes. \nEach day features hands-on STEM activities inspired by real camping scenarios: building and testing miniature shelters\, going spelunking (under tables)\, studying rocks and geology\, learning about nocturnal animals\, building water filters\, cooking with solar ovens\, and navigating the building with hand-drawn maps. \nNote: This class takes place entirely indoors despite the campout theme. \n  \nGrades 1 – 3 \nJune 8 – 12
