Guided by Embry-Riddle professors and forensic experts\, you’ll experience every phase of solving a complex simulated crime. The sessions focus on a specialized area of forensics\, blending scientific discovery\, critical thinking\, and investigative skill. Each session can be taken individually\, but together they form an immersive three-week arc. You’ll walk away with not only a deeper understanding of forensic science but also the teamwork\, analytical\, and critical-thinking skills of a real investigator. \nGet ready to crack the case-and discover the science that brings truth to light! \nSession 1: CSI Forensics – The Crime Scene Investigator\nStep into the shoes of a first responder at a simulated crime scene. Learn how to secure the area\, preserve evidence\, and document every clue like a professional investigator. You’ll gain hands-on experience in identifying and collecting fingerprints\, footprints\, fibers\, and blood spatter patterns\, while learning the science behind how each piece of evidence tells its story.\nStudents will also master the fundamentals of forensic photography and chain of custody protocols\, ensuring that evidence remains uncontaminated and admissible in court. By the end of the week\, you’ll have the skills to reconstruct the events of a crime from the clues left behind. \n  \nNot for college credit  \nTuition Includes    \nSupervised housing\, on-campus meals\, classroom instruction\, books\, and materials. Learn about DNA fingerprinting\, kinship analysis\, and how forensic genetics can even solve crimes decades later. DESCRIPTION:Who: High School Students ages 14-18 \nWhen: \nSession 3 July 12\, 2026 – July 17\, 2026 \nWhere: Prescott\, Arizona \nTuition: $1700 \nGear up for an unforgettable adventure as you take part in a thrilling\, hands-on journey through the world of criminal investigation. Guided by Embry-Riddle professors and forensic experts\, you’ll experience every phase of solving a complex simulated crime. The sessions focus on a specialized area of forensics\, blending scientific discovery\, critical thinking\, and investigative skill. Each session can be taken individually\, but together they form an immersive three-week arc. You’ll walk away with not only a deeper understanding of forensic science but also the teamwork\, analytical\, and critical-thinking skills of a real investigator. \nSession 3: Police Forensics – The Investigation in Action\nWork through mock investigations and realistic case studies to understand how forensic evidence shapes police work. Learn the art of interviewing witnesses and suspects\, build psychological profiles\, and explore the digital side of forensics\, including recovering deleted data and analyzing cyber evidence.\nYou’ll also examine the ethical and legal dimensions of forensics\, understanding the balance between science\, justice\, and personal rights. The session culminates in a collaborative team challenge\, where students act as detectives\, lab analysts\, and legal experts to bring their case to trial. \n  \nNot for college credit  \nTuition Includes    \nSupervised housing\, on-campus meals\, classroom instruction\, books\, and materials. Students are required to bring their own linens/sleeping bags/towels. More information to be provided in the Enrollment Packet. \nCancellation Policy  \nA $50 processing fee will be deducted from all cancellations. If a written cancellation notice is received by May 1st\, the remaining balance will be fully refunded. For cancellations submitted after May 1st\, 50% of the tuition cost will be forfeited. Additionally\, if the camp is full and your cancellation notice is received after May 1st\, a refund will only be issued if your student’s spot can be filled. \nRegistration begins January 12
