SUMMARY:Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary: Advanced Volunteer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for an introduction to volunteer work in the animal field? This is the perfect camp for you! You will be assisting with animal care\, cleaning\, and more! \nThis week-long camp is structed much like the “Keepers Program”. Campers must be ready to work inside/outside to aid in the cleaning of animal enclosures\, redesign of enclosures\, animal feedings\, food sorting etc. This will give the campers the experience of what it is like to be a true volunteer at PHS. Only campers that have shown that they follow safety precautions and are active listeners may attend this camp as we will be doing projects that require this skillset. \nSchedule will be determined the day of camp depending tasks/projects that need to be completed \nAges: Advanced\, Ages 12 – 14 \nPrice: $350\, July 27th – July 31st \nYour registration for a week-long camp will include: \n\n1 Camp T-shirt with camper name\, per week\nPhotos from camp. Emailed 1-2 weeks after the camp has ended in a Google Drive Folder\nCamp Gift per week (keychain\, folder\, notebook\, etc)\n2 snacks per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon) & water\n\nDissections: NO \nInteractions: YES with nonvenomous animals\, this is an essential part of our camp \n**This camp is for EXPERIENCED Campers only. SUMMARY:Embry - Riddle Aeronautical University: Diamond Flight Summer Camp [Bravo]
DESCRIPTION:“Diamond Flight” is a three-day immersive discovery flight “team experience” for a parent (or guardian) and their student. \nParent/guardian participation in all camp activities (including flight) is mandatory for minors to participate. \nDesigned to provide introductory flight training\, the program is presented in three components across three days: Live flight training in beautiful north central Arizona; Aviation related knowledge topics (Weather\, Air Traffic Management\, Safety Analysis\, Night Operations\, Cross Country Operations) presented in an easy-to-understand format and a simulated flight in a synthetic reality environment. \nThe team of one parent (or guardian) and child will enjoy dedicated one on one instruction in our Diamond DA42 “TwinStar” aircraft. These “TwinStars” are twin-engine aircraft and are all equipped with the latest in advanced avionics (Garmin G1000 System). In addition\, each team will also get to try their hand at flying our twin engine DA42 FRASCA simulator. Your experience will be facilitated by a member of the instruction team at every point to ensure a safe and exciting time in the air and on the ground. \nThe complete program includes \n(Student flies 100% of time – no sharing flight time) \n\nHands-on flight time in our DA-42s consisting of three flights – one day local orientation flight\, a cross country flight to a destination airport\, and one night flight to greater Phoenix area!\nGround instruction by an FAA Certified Flight Instructor in preparation and debrief for your fight time\nGroup education in aviation related topics\nFlight time in the FRASCA DA42″TwinStar” Flight Simulator\nLogbook certifying flight instruction that can be used toward your aviation career goals\nPer TSA guidelines\, US citizenship is required for a student to participate in this flight training course.\n\nWeight: Maximum combined weight of participants cannot exceed 450 lbs. \n*Flight hours are not guaranteed due to unforeseen circumstances\, such as weather. In the event of a canceled flight\, we will do our absolute best to modify the remaining flights and adjust the schedule to accommodate previously scheduled flight times. \nWho: High School Students ages 13-17 \nWhen: \nBravo – July 31\, 2026 – August 2\, 2026 \nWhere: Prescott\, Arizona \nTuition: $5700 \n  \nNot for college credit  \nTuition Includes    \n“Take Flight” and “Diamond Flight” Camps do not include lodging\, on-campus meals\, classroom instruction\, books and materials. \nCancellation Policy  \nA $50 processing fee will be deducted from all cancellations. If a written cancellation notice is received by May 1st\, the remaining balance will be fully refunded. For cancellations submitted after May 1st\, 50% of the tuition cost will be forfeited.
