Arizona State University: THE EDGE OF EXPLORATION – OUR GALACTIC NEIGHBORHOOD

Astrophotography has produced many iconic images of fantastic skyscapes.   Roiling colorful clouds gas and dust suggest cataclysmic events on a massive scale.

This program will ask the questions:” Where are these objects in our galaxy?” and “What do they tell us about the forces that shape the space around us?”

The Marston Exploration Theater is located on the ASU Tempe campus, in the Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building IV (ISTB4). The theater employs Definiti SkySkan Planetarium technology utilizing 4K projection systems that render Earth and Space Science themes in 3D stereographic vision.
