Arizona State University: THE EDGE OF EXPLORATION – EXPLORING TIME AND DISTANCE

Seeing further into space is also seeing back in time.

New technology is allowing researchers to peer back to a time of first stars and galaxies.

The James Webb Space telescope gives us the best chance yet of observe our early universe and test our best understanding of the distribution of the cosmic matter we observe today.

This program is a journey to the very edge of our known universe.

 

The Marston Exploration Theater is located on the ASU Tempe campus, in the Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building IV (ISTB4). The theater employs Definiti SkySkan Planetarium technology utilizing 4K projection systems that render Earth and Space Science themes in 3D stereographic vision.
