Arizona State Parks & Trails: Night Under the Stars

Observe the wonders of the night sky through astronomers’ telescopes at a dark sky park!

On November 6, 2021, we will be holding our Annual Night Under the Stars Star Party. Stay at the park by reserving campsites online. There will be a solar viewing from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a short presentation after the 5:30 p.m. sunset. Telescopes will be provided by Verde Valley Astronomy and West Valley members.

Special appearance by Smokey Bear in the afternoon!

At the event, please note that no flash photos are allowed after dark to protect everyone’s night vision. Please bring a red flashlight or for a small donation mini-red LED flashlights will be available at the event.

Entrance Fees
$10 per vehicle (up to four adults) for the night of viewing, instruction and family fun. Camping is available at the park (additional fee).
