Arizona State Parks and Trails: Star Party

Meet at ranch house patio.

Join us for an evening admiring the night sky! We will begin the evening at the ranch house patio for a Twilight Talk from 6:30-7:30 p.m. presented by Jim O’Connor, coordinator with Grand Canyon Star Party. After the Twilight Talk, star viewing will start at 7:30 p.m. with the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association, who will have telescopes set up to look at different objects in the sky. If you would like a place to sit, we recommend bringing folding chairs, as our patio seating may fill up during the event. The star party does not require registration and is free with regular park admission ($7 per vehicle day use fee or display a valid annual state parks pass).

For any questions about the event, you can call the park at 520-896-2425 or email Ranger Michael at mbain@azstateparks.gov.
