Arizona State Parks and Trails: Photography Tour at Oracle
Are you interested in learning to use the manual settings on your camera to take beautiful photos at Oracle State Park? Join us for our upcoming Photography Tour! On September 28 from 8:00-8:30 a.m., a knowledgeable photographer will lead a demonstration reviewing settings and compositional techniques for landscape and wildlife photography. Then from 8:30-10:00, visitors will be guided through our Nature Trail, making stops along the way to practice different techniques. While this is a great program for anyone looking to learn to use manual camera settings on an interchangeable lens camera, experienced photographers are welcome to join, as well as those with smartphones. We recommend bringing sturdy hiking shoes, your camera, and plenty of water as we head out on the trail. Please keep in mind that the Nature Trail is 1.2 miles long, and includes sandy areas, rocky terrain, and elevation changes. For any questions about the event, call the park at 520-896-2425 or email Ranger Michael at mbain@azstateparks.gov.
