Arizona State Parks and Trails: Evening Bird Walk

As temperatures soar, nocturnal birds take flight during the cool evening hours to hunt under the cover of darkness. Join birding guides to spot the owls and nighthawks that prowl the night skies on this unique nighttime adventure! Please bring a flashlight and consider downloading the free “Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab” app to identify birds by sound.

Follow signs for “trailhead” and meet at the Trailhead picnic area near the restrooms.

Limited to 20 people and registration is required. Sign up online by filtering for “Catalina” in the events.
