Arizona State Parks and Trails: Adaptive Planet – Fire and Ice

What do the Arctic tundra and the Sonoran Desert have in common? More than you might think! Whether growing through fire-scorched earth or icy snow sheets, surprising plants and animals reveal how life finds a way. Discover desert marvels and fascinating survivors of the extreme on this journey through opposing biomes. Bring a camp chair and cozy up ’round the fire for this illuminating campfire talk!

Meet at the Palo Verde Day Use area. There is no additional cost for this program but the park entrance fee applies, or bring your Arizona State Parks annual pass.
