Arizona Science Center: Science Beyond Sight
Did you know you can discover science through touching, hearing and tasting?
In partnership with the Foundation for Blind Children, Arizona Science Center presents Science Beyond Sight—a FREE community event in Heritage & Science Park on October 5! From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Guests will have the chance to explore science through their senses with hands-on activities, fun challenges and engaging community partners.
Foundation for Blind Children’s Annual White Cane Walk
Science Beyond Sight surrounds the Foundation for Blind Children’s annual White Cane Walk. This 1.2 mile walk around Downtown Phoenix helps advocate for those experiencing vision loss, pedestrian safety and how everyone can help people experiencing visual impairment stay safe as they travel.
