Arizona Science Center: Homeschool Grade Band Workshop – Young Inventors: Invent It, Print It

Students build essential skills across two scaffolded sessions, transforming ideas into real creations they can take home. Younger learners explore hands-on 3D pen drawing, while older students advance to modeling and printing—empowering everyone to design, prototype, and bring their creations to life.

Students become inventors as they design their own small objects using 3D modeling software. After creating their prototypes, they’ll explore how 3D printers bring digital designs into the real world, and leave with a printed item of their design.
