Did you know that children can learn the foundations of coding before they can write and spell?
Learn basic problem-solving skills and new vocabulary for children as young as 4 to give them the building blocks to becoming an excellent coder. Join us online for guided activities as we teach your child the basis of code – problem solving!
Who’s it for? Children ages 4-7 and their favorite grownups. An adult must participate onscreen with their child at all times.
What will you do? In this online program, you and your child will play games, do activities, and learn vocabulary words that support basic coding skills.
Little Bytes Online is an 8 week series. Program sessions will be held on Jan 25, Feb 1, Feb 8, Feb 22, Mar 1, Mar 8, Mar 15, and Mar 22 online. Registration is required and by registering you agree to attend all 8 online program sessions. Please fill in the registration questions on this page and we will email you with additional required registration information.
Supplies: All families will need to pick up a Little Bytes Online Supply Box from Burton Barr Central Library. You will receive information about supply pick-up after you register.
