Engineering For Kids of Phoenix Metro Summer Camp @ Mavrix Entertainment in Scottsdale: Brainpad Coding Arcade and LEGO EV3 Robotics: Self-Driving Cars (Grades 3 – 8)

Whether your kid is a coding whiz or a beginner, our new coding program Brainpad is sure to please!

Many coding platforms end with playing a game on the computer, but why stop there? Brainpad literally puts the game in kids’ hands, offering a fun and tech-filled device to play their custom-built games on the go. Using a mix of visual-based code and basic JavaScript, campers will create both simple and complex games from the ground-up while building on the fundamentals of computer programming, all in the low-stress, fun environment you’ve come to expect from Engineering For Kids.

PM Session: LEGO EV3 Robotics: Self-Driving Cars

Let’s breathe new life into our trusty EV3 Robotics kits with some fresh curriculum in Self-Driving Cars! A more kid-friendly, reimagined programming interface, exciting new lessons, and new robotic sensors all make up this intense camp session. Kids will program their various builds to create functions for their robots ranging from intruder alarms to automatic parking sensors. We’ll use the color sensors to autonomously trace out shapes and lines and implement the ultrasonic sensor to bestow object detection for a safer car. It’s the wave of the future, so get your child a leg up today!
