Desert Rivers Audubon Society: Monthly Speaker Series – The Urban Forest – Jon Arona

Due to the COVID-19 situation, this event will be held on Zoom (not at the library).

Register Here! (free & open to the public)

The trees and forests right outside of our doorsteps and in our cities, towns, and communities comprise the urban forest — 130 million acres across the nation. Urban Forestry Specialist Jon Arona will explain the multitude of benefits that accrue from this forest, and why it is important to care for these trees properly. The role the urban environment plays for wildlife is often overlooked and undervalued.
