Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department requested Brown and Caldwell’s services in an evaluation of the existing Headworks odor control and ventilation system.

Improvements to the odor-control system were needed to improve the workspace atmosphere in the buildings and prevent fugitive odors from escaping the treatment plant site. The specific goals of this project were to improve interior building
environments, maintain H2S concentrations below one part per million, and to achieve airflow containment and pressure balance within the supply/exhaust system to prevent fugitive emissions.
