Arizona SciTech Festival: Throwback Thursday Bear Essential Super Science Night for Young Reporters

Robin Kropp, a veteran education specialist for ASDM, will have some fascinating desert creatures and facts to share. And Sita Stanfield, Next Generation Ranger for Saguaro National Park, will talk about wildlife corridors and how technology is used to study wildlife day and night.

Both will field your questions at the end of their presentations so you can get additional facts and quotes for your stories.

Young Reporters and those who want to join Bear Essential’s Young Reporters Program can complete this RSVP Link and they will be sent the Zoom Invite Link a few days before the meeting. Please complete the RSVP by February 23, 2021.

If you have a sibling or friend in grades 3-8 that would like to sign up to be a Young Reporter for Bear, they can fill out the bio form for Phoenix or Tucson and email it to or fax it to 520-792-2580. Once received, they will be sent their Young Reporter kit and an invite to the Young Reporter Science Night Event.

Guest presenters/interviewees: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum & Saguaro National Park West

Available statewide.

Ten Years of Celebrating STEM in Arizona

Celebrate ten seasons of the Arizona SciTech Festival with a network of individuals who have collaborated, participated and supported engagements in STEM. Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.” Thank you.
