Dominique Browning

Alumni Association Coordinator

Dominique is an Arizona Native who discovered her love for STEAM at a young age. Fascinated by how things worked, she scared her parents by taking apart all of her toys but surprised them by putting them back together. This fascination lead her to pursue robotics via FLL in Middle School and FRC/Vex in High School. She was later elected as one of the first CSO’s in existence.
During her time as a CSO, Dominique worked with her school to bring STEAM opportunities to all High School students in Casa Grande and advocated for women in STEM wherever she went. After graduating High School, she became a STREET Team lead for the SciTech Festival where she remains today.
Now in her third year at ASU, pursuing an Interdisciplinary degree in Innovation in Society and Digital Culture, Dominique is working with the SciTech Institute to develop an Alumni Association for CSO’s that have graduated out of the program but still want to be involved. As an Alumni, she has traveled to Connecticut for the ASTC Conference as a featured speaker in front of hundreds of Science Center officials from across the globe and as a representative at the International Summit for CSO’s in Washington D.C. In her free time, she plays Roller Derby for ASU and has a passion for art, deaf culture via ASL, and her senior Black Lab mix.
