Arizona Veteran Supportive Employer Training at UAT

The Tempe Chamber Military Affairs Committee is proud to partner with the Arizona Coalition for Military Families to provide our members with free training on becoming an Arizona Veteran Supportive Employer. This workshop focuses on how to effectively hire, manage, and retain service members, veterans, and their family members and includes key information about how to assist military members that are transitioning into the civilian workforce as well as how to maximize the potential of every veteran employee.

The training helps employers fulfill the requirements to become an Arizona Veteran Supportive Employer (AVSE). The training and the AVSE process are offered at no cost Arizona employers as part of the Arizona Roadmap to Veteran Employment. The Arizona Roadmap to Veteran Employment is a collaboration of public and private sector partners on connecting service members, veterans, and their families with employment opportunities, training, and resources.
